In the Light

I had a very nice weekend (despite the snow). My friend James G. came down from Yale to hang out with me on Sunday for us to walk around The Gates. What a wonderful experience. What you see on television and photos does not give justice to the beauty of those tangerine colored flags. James described it best..."like looking under a giant skirt". You almost felt wrong to look up:) haha...The key it to look at it from many different angles. The thrill is also checking out the people that come from all over the world with such enthusiasm. People dressing up their children and pets in orange...cute.

That's it folks! Going home tonight to my scooby doo snacks and television to watch "Three's Company".

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!

I just wrote the longest letter to everyone and it was all deleted by accident!!! Damn! Here I go again...

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Even if you had nobody to shag on this love holiday there is still something to be said about doing it yourself...haha. I had a great Valentine's. My partner cooked for me and gave me my favorite flowers (pink roses). This weekend I would like to see "The Gates". Many people told me that it was bad. I think that regardless, we should all see it because not only was a lot of time and money spent on the project, it is also part of NYC history. I would also like to remind everyone that there is an amazing exhibition of Peter Paul Ruben's drawings currently at the Met. If you have never been inside the Met museum, shame on you. On another subject...The WMMC Speed Dating was great! Not many people showed up. We had a great time anyway. People that showed up told me they loved the idea. Believe it or not, a few really did find dates. I still have people telling their stories of love connections via Speed Dating. It is super romantic. Hope people can show up to our next event!
